This is my first time to shoot a wedding event and the experience is shit-what-is-this (Haha). I took photos of weddings before but to officially cover the whole event is a whole new experience. Awesome. Exhausting. Amazing.
Groom’s house. Kuya Stephen is an American who grew up and resides here in Albay since elementary, so he speaks the Bicol language fluently, which I didn’t know because I have been set up by my co-photogs who met them during the prenup. And I hate it because the effort hahaha t’was fun talking to white people though.
Bride. Ate Joanna is a Filipina who also grew up here and met Kuya Stephen during their high school years at St. Agnes Academy. I don’t know much of their love story but I felt the spirit of happy ending during the ceremony.

So that’s it. I learned a lot from this shoot. The experience was priceless even though I had a lot of mistakes during the event. Thanks to my mentors – Sir Nelson, Kuya Ming, Sir Custer and Sir Dan :))
