Ibalong is a festival in Legazpi City, Albay celebrating the epic story of the town of Ibalong with its three heroes: Handiong, Baltog and Bantong and other heroes. The Street presentation was usually the highlight of the event. I am not a fan of Ibalong festival but i usually take photowalks during its street presentations. I always enjoy the colors of the festival, the people and the pretty faces of Albayanos dancing on the street and doing ibalong stuffs.
For this year, i am with the MPCI people and yah, enjoyed their company. Actually, we were not able to watch the exhibition because uh! tiring.. After the almost 5km walk from Albay Park to LCC, we were so dead tired. Especially in my part because of the Volleyball thingys i did in the morning. My arms are so in pain.. my whole body i mean. Plus the tanning effect of the sun that time was sooooo strong (LOL).
Just right after the Ibalong st presentation, we went straight to Legazpi Blvd. to cover the Grand Marian Procession. O_O We walked another 5km again from LCC to the very end of the Blvd. So tiring that my body was so so feeling stressed. (Sorry body! :D).
Enjoyed this hectic day after all. Promise i’ll rest today and give my body a massage grande haha…
