(Yellow-Vented Bulbul, Bee Eater, Little Egret, Zebra Dove)

Hola! Been away for like forever and I am going to revive this blog by posting all the stuffs I am into. I now have the time to post things and luckily, my work is more on places and nature and every living and non-living things.

These photos of birds (except the last one) were taken during my college days in Bicol University. The photo of the Bee Eater was taken during our short course in UP Los Banos last summer and the Zebra Dove was taken during my last year in high school. Yes, I developed this birdwatching hobby because of our seminar with the Haribon Foundation Inc.. These creatures are commonly taken for granted (parang ikaw hahaha) but there’s this beauty that you will only appreciate when you look at them closely. This BirdWatching Project hopefully would at least raise awareness to those who threaten these birds. People, they deserve to thrive just like us. Don’t hurt these cuties!

Exploring Sorsogon – Paguiriran Island

Our adventure to Paguiriran Island is another not-well planned trip but it turns out to be one of the best escapade we have ever done. We don’t have any idea on how to get there even though I have people to ask from Sorsogon. So here it is guys. My summer adventure with the best tropa 😀

How to get there:

Since we are from Oas, we took a one hour bus ride from Oas diversion up to Bañag (Fare is Php45.00). From there we rode a jeepney going to Shell Daraga (Fare is Php8.00) because that is where the terminal going to Sorsogon is located. We rode a bus with a board sign of “Sorsogon” in it and then it took us over two hours to be on the Sorci (my shortcut word for Sorsogon) terminal (Fare is 75). From Sorci terminal we took a tricycle going to Savemore (Fare is 10) mall then the jeepneys going to Bacon are located on the left side of it (Fare is 40). Just tell the driver that you are going to “Paguiriran Island beach resort”

We met Ate Erlinda on our way to the beach and it happened that she is one of the resident and vendor on the beach so she is the one who accommodate us for two days. We were not able to take photos with her but these halo-halos are from her hehe

And ooh wait the cottage fee is very affordable like you will just spend 300 to 1500 for an overnight!

We got there at past 1:00pm so this is the view that welcomed us. Helow tide!

Thans to the power of monopod

The super fine sand of Pagiriran can help you build the castle you want 🙂

We would like to thank the owner of the resort ( Kuya Nick and I forgot the other one and also to their mother) for the kind and very generous accommodation. If you guys want to spend time there you can contact this number 0947-571-4080. This is Ate Erlinda’s mobile number.

Albay has long been a picturesque province in the Bicol Region, and one city, Tabaco, shows off its colorful heritage in its annual Tabak festival, held this year from June 15-25.

The Tabak Festival is held in conjunction with the celebration of the city’s foundation anniversary. The festival derived its name from a local word “tabak,” meaning bolo, where the name of the city, Tabaco, was taken from. Its highlight is a street presentation where participants showcase the legend of the city. Numerous other activities are lined up to drumbeat the affair.

Toro pose. Parang baliktad yata 😀 Haha Peace again Rosang!

One thing i always do when travelling is riding on public vehicles. Mas fun kasi pag nagccommute. You meet and SMELL a lot of people. May moment dito na nagsstare kami at the dark not knowing sementeryo pala yung tinitingnan namin. Mga baliw eh. Late reaction. Another, kumakanta kami nung hey mickey you’re so fine and todo indak kami nila juvy and rosa tapos tiningnan kami nung nasa unahan na upuan sa sobrang kukulet, gagalaw at iingay namin. It’s fun. Kami yung naging energizer dun sa bus. I remember nung naniningil na ng pamasahe yung konduktor, sabi ni Rosa, itulak daw namin dun sa pinto yung konduktor pag kami na yung sinisingil Hahaha (we’re sitting kasi dun sa likod ng bus na malapit sa back door). Nakauwi kami around 9pm then yah, Great day! :))

And at last i see the lights. And it’s like the fog has lifted 🙂

Another sunset craziness with my friends. This time, it’s all about the horizon, the sky, the sun.. and the drama. I always love making fun of the scenario. Sunset is the best thing ever created and yes, i really really appreciate it. It tells a lot of stories, meanings. LIFE.

And this sunset gave me another moment to realize that i am very lucky to live. And i am very blessed having these people in my life. In short, it’s all about YOLO… :))
